Xpeng Showcases AeroHT eVTOL Flying Car at CES 2024

The Chinese EV maker's flying car concept, which can transition between land and flight modes, is set to start taking pre-orders later this year.

Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng showcased its flying car concept, the AeroHT eVTOL, at CES 2024, attracting significant attention.
The AeroHT eVTOL can be driven on roads with its propeller arms folded in, and can take to the skies when traffic hits, subject to local aviation regulations.
Xpeng's subsidiary AeroHT plans to start taking pre-orders for its modular Land Aircraft Carrier in the fourth quarter of this year, with deliveries to start a year later.
Xpeng's AeroHT eVTOL has conducted flying tests in China, but did not take flight at CES 2024.
