Xiaomi Opens Pre-Orders for Refreshed SU7 With Standard LiDAR and April Launch

The update puts safety first after two fatal crashes that authorities are still investigating.

Overview

  • Pre-sale prices range from 229,900 to 309,900 yuan, about 6.5% higher than the 2024 model yet still roughly 2.4% below Tesla’s Model 3 in China.
  • All trims add LiDAR, a 700 TOPS ADAS computer and nine airbags, with a reinforced body and a backup power supply for door locks.
  • Higher-voltage silicon-carbide platforms now cover the lineup—752V for Standard and Pro, 897V for Max—supporting up to 670 km of range added in 15 minutes of DC fast charging.
  • Claimed CLTC ranges rise to 720 km (Standard), 902 km (Pro) and 835 km (Max), while outputs reach 320 hp for single-motor versions and 690 hp for the dual-motor Max, and Pro gains dual-chamber air suspension.
  • SU7 deliveries have topped 360,000 as Xiaomi reported over 410,000 EVs sold in 2025 and set a 2026 target of 550,000, following a late-2025 sales slowdown and heightened scrutiny.
