Overview

• Xiaomi officially announced HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, branding it Surge OS 3 in China and HyperOS 3 globally.
• Beta testing starts in China with a published schedule beginning August 29 for the Xiaomi 15 lineup, Redmi K80 Pro/Extreme, Pad 7 models and POCO F7, followed by additional waves on September 17 and September 30.
