Xiaomi Details Next-Gen SU7 in New Livestream, Moves Up In-Store Demos Ahead of April Launch

The company is advancing showroom availability to let buyers test the upgraded model well before deliveries.

Overview

  • Preorders opened on January 7 with a provisional price range of 229,900–309,900 yuan, and the refreshed SU7 is slated to go on sale in April 2026.
  • All trims add lidar, a 700 TOPS Nvidia Thor platform, 4D millimeter-wave radar, Xiaomi HAD end-to-end assisted driving, and the V6s Plus motor, with the Pro rated at 902 km CLTC range.
  • Xiaomi said it announced early to remove heavy camouflage and tighten validation, targeting more than 15 million km of cumulative road testing across the SU7 series in conditions from −30°C to 50°C.
  • The model expands customization with nine exterior colors, five interior schemes, and six wheel designs across 19–21 inches.
  • Lei Jun said some stores could display the car before the Lunar New Year as PR leaders countered secondhand market rumors by citing industry data showing SU7’s one-year value retention led pure EVs for eight consecutive months.
