Xhaka Departs Arsenal for Bayer Leverkusen After 7 Years

Granit Xhaka has completed a £21.5 million move to Bayer Leverkusen, ending his seven-year stay at Arsenal.
Xhaka signed a five-year deal with Leverkusen and Arsenal received €25 million for the transfer.
Xhaka made 297 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 23 goals and providing 29 assists, and won four trophies during his time at the club.
Xhaka had a prominent role at Arsenal, being part of the club's leadership group and scoring nine goals in his best campaign.
Leverkusen finished sixth in the Bundesliga last season and will compete in the Europa League.
