Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Announced for Nintendo Switch

The remastered version of the beloved Wii U RPG will be available on March 20, 2025, with enhanced graphics and new story elements.

Xenoblade Chronicles X, originally released on the Wii U, will be ported to the Nintendo Switch, completing the availability of the entire Xenoblade series on one console.
The Definitive Edition will feature visually enhanced graphics and additional story content, although the extent of these new elements is not yet fully detailed.
The game is set in 2054 and follows humanity's survival on the alien planet Mira after Earth is destroyed, offering a standalone narrative within the Xenoblade series.
Players can engage in multiplayer modes with up to 32 participants, including Squad Tasks and Global Nemesis Battles, via Nintendo Switch Online.
Preorders for the physical version are open at GameStop for $60, with availability at other major retailers expected closer to the release date.
