XDefiant Season 2 Introduces Far Cry New Dawn Faction and Private Matches

Ubisoft's competitive shooter adds the aggressive Highwaymen faction, new maps, weapons, and customizable private matches starting September 24.

Season 2 of XDefiant will feature the Highwaymen faction from Far Cry New Dawn, known for their aggressive playstyle with unique abilities like the Saw Launcher and Scrap Turret.
The new season introduces three new weapons: the PP-19 submachine gun, L86 LSW light machine gun, and SPAS-12 shotgun.
Players can look forward to the new Bomb game mode, a tactical, team-based mode where players must either detonate or defuse a bomb.
Private matches will allow players to create custom games with settings such as map, mode, player count, and team size, enhancing the community's ability to organize grassroots tournaments.
Two additional maps, Signal and Air & Space, will be added throughout the season, bringing the total map count to 20.
