XDefiant Releases Massive Final Update Ahead of 2025 Shutdown

Ubisoft's free-to-play FPS delivers content from five planned seasons in its last major patch before servers close in June 2025.

The final update for XDefiant includes content originally planned for Seasons 3 through 8, marking a significant farewell for the game.
Three new factions—Assassins, Wolves, and Blood Dragon—have been introduced, each with unique abilities and gameplay styles.
Players gain access to 13 new maps, including previously unreleased locations like Animus Anomaly and the Rayman-themed map.
New modes such as Defuse, Lum Hunt, and Turbo XD add variety, alongside a revamped progression system with Prestige and faction mastery rewards.
XDefiant servers will officially shut down on June 3, 2025, with the game no longer available for download or new registrations.
