Xbox Unveils Full Gamescom 2026 Program for Its 25th Anniversary

It positions playable demos, a FanFest stop, accessible services, livestreams, global outreach to spotlight upcoming Xbox and partner titles.

  • Xbox published its full Gamescom program on Tuesday, July 28, confirming booth logistics, a 25-game lineup and 140 demo stations for Cologne's show next month.
  • Gamescom runs Aug. 26–30 and Xbox will host public hours at Hall 7, booth A-0.61 from Aug. 27–30 with FanFest taking place the evening of Aug. 26 via a sweepstakes for tickets.
  • Many marquee titles will be playable on-site, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Gears of War: E-Day, METRO 2039 and Alien: Isolation 2, while Playground Games will present Fable as a live demo theater presentation rather than a hands-on demo.
  • The booth will offer accessibility supports such as Xbox Adaptive Controllers, adjustable demo stations, a Quiet room, sensory items, ASL/BSL/DGS interpreters and scheduled English- and German-language audio descriptions.
  • Xbox will stream live broadcasts from the booth on YouTube and Twitch with ASL and English audio descriptions to reach global viewers and highlight its 25th-anniversary celebration of the platform.
