Overview
- The leak, posted to Reddit and reported across outlets on Tuesday, Oct 6, 2026, came from scraped entries in the Xbox Design Lab / Spectrum Customizer backend and was later removed from the API.
- Records list magnetic thumbstick options labeled Hall‑effect and TMR, which use magnet‑based sensing to prevent mechanical stick drift by removing physical potentiometers.
- The files name 'Advanced Haptics (VCAs)' and 'Impulse Triggers (ERMs),' indicating voice‑coil actuators for higher‑definition tactile feedback and trigger‑specific vibration.
- Design Lab entries show deep customization: a dedicated audio scroll wheel, swappable faceplates and D‑pads, low‑friction or silent sticks, multiple paddle layouts and 27 accessory configurations.
- The listing implies multiple SKUs—a Base and an Elite Complete bundle, each offered with or without the advanced haptics—but Microsoft has not confirmed specs, pricing or a release date.
