Xbox Developer Direct Unveils Major 2025 Game Lineup

Microsoft highlights four new titles, a surprise remaster release, and Game Pass expansions during its latest presentation.

Microsoft showcased four upcoming games at its 2025 Developer Direct: South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Doom: The Dark Ages, and Ninja Gaiden 4.
South of Midnight, an action-adventure game set in a Southern Gothic-inspired world, launches on April 8, 2025, with early access available through a premium edition.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG blending fantasy and late 19th-century France, releases on April 24, 2025, featuring deep character customization and a unique reactive combat system.
Doom: The Dark Ages, a medieval-themed prequel to Doom Eternal, arrives on May 15, 2025, introducing new weapons, a mecha combat feature, and expanded difficulty settings.
A remastered version of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is now available on Game Pass, while Ninja Gaiden 4 is set to launch in Fall 2025 with a new protagonist and returning fan-favorite Ryu Hayabusa.
