Overview
- Microsoft introduced two models: the Xbox Wireless Controller – Fallout Pip-Boy and the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Fallout Pip-Boy.
- The standard controller is available for pre-order at the Microsoft Store, and both models can be personalized now through Xbox Design Lab.
- The designs mirror the Pip-Boy’s green hue and HUD icons, add a custom Fallout topcase and metallic options, and include a free topcase engraving for a limited holiday period.
- Both controllers work over Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth across Xbox consoles, PC, iOS, Android and cloud devices, with the Elite Series 2 adding adjustable-tension thumbsticks, wrap-around rubberized grip, shorter hair trigger locks, paddles and advanced mapping.
- Independent outlets corroborated the launch and noted the timing alongside the upcoming second season of the Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime Video later this month.
