Xbox Cloud Gaming Expands to LG Smart TVs in 2025

Microsoft partners with LG to bring Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and cloud gaming to select new LG Smart TVs later this year.

The Xbox app will be pre-installed on LG's latest Smart TVs, enabling Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream games directly via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
In addition to Game Pass titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Avowed, users can stream select owned digital games, though this feature currently supports only about 50 titles.
A compatible Bluetooth-enabled controller is required to play games through the Xbox app on LG TVs, which will be accessible via the new LG Gaming Portal.
Microsoft has not yet announced specific LG TV models or a precise release date but plans to reveal more details in the coming months.
This collaboration follows Xbox's broader strategy of expanding cloud gaming to non-console devices, including Samsung TVs, Meta Quest headsets, and Amazon Fire Sticks.
