X seizes longtime user's @music handle for company rebrand

Jeremy Vaught, who ran the @music account since 2007, is unhappy that X took over the handle he built up over 16 years.
X offered Vaught alternative handles related to music, but none held the significance of @music for him.
The @music handle now redirects to X's official music account, previously @twittermusic.
This is the second high-profile handle X has taken from a user after rebranding from Twitter.
The move raises concerns about the value of handles on the platform amidst X's significant changes under Elon Musk.
