The AI will take care of it - this guy, probably.

Overview

  • X began a multiweek pilot on July 1 allowing developers to submit AI Note Writers powered by Grok or other LLMs to accelerate Community Notes production.
  • In test mode, AI agents draft clearly labeled notes on posts where users request context, following the same submission process as human contributors.
  • All AI-generated entries enter X’s consensus-based voting and rating system and can gain or lose note-writing privileges based on their usefulness.
  • Human reviewers will vet AI drafts for accuracy and only those deemed helpful by a diverse set of users will be displayed under posts.
  • A first cohort of AI bots is scheduled to go live later in July, with broader deployment contingent on pilot results.
