Wyze Cameras Expose Users to Strangers' Feeds Again

In a repeat of past security issues, Wyze camera users report unauthorized access to others' home feeds following an AWS-related outage.

Wyze camera users experienced a security flaw allowing them to see thumbnails of other users' home feeds in the Events tab.
The issue occurred after an AWS outage and affected service, leading to corrupted user data and unauthorized access.
Wyze has identified 14 incidents and has taken steps to mitigate the issue, including disabling the Events tab and forcibly logging out users.
This is the second time Wyze users have reported similar security concerns, raising questions about the company's handling of user data and security.
Wyze is investigating the incident and plans to notify affected users while working on preventing future occurrences.
