- Design firms Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo and Jeffrey Beers International led the transformation, weaving rainforest-inspired touches into a new lobby and refreshed public spaces.
- The project updated all 400 guestrooms, including 40 suites, with contemporary Caribbean styling, private balconies, and views of either El Yunque or the Atlantic.
- The expanded poolscape now totals five distinct pools, featuring an adults-only area plus a new waterslide tower and a coquí-themed splash zone for children.
- Dining and nightlife span ten venues, with Roots Coastal Kitchen, Palio, and Caicu complemented by a redesigned casino, a sports-betting lounge, and The Vault speakeasy cabaret.
- Amenities now include two 18-hole golf courses, a racquet center, the El Yunque Spa, and the new Xplorers Club for families, with Roots menus developed in collaboration with Top Chef finalists Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth.
