The wrestler sustained broken ribs and a punctured lung during a high-risk move on Monday Night Raw, forcing him to miss upcoming major events.

The injury occurred when McDonagh performed a springboard moonsault, landing on Ivar but hitting the back of his head on the announce table.
Despite the injury, McDonagh finished the match before collapsing backstage and being taken to the hospital for treatment.
McDonagh has announced he will be out of action for a few months, ruling him out of the Royal Rumble on February 1 and leaving his WrestleMania 41 participation uncertain.
Debuting in WWE in 2016, McDonagh has been a prominent figure, recently joining the main roster and holding the World Tag Team Championship with Finn Bálor for 175 days.
