WWE Takes Creative Helm of AAA’s Triplemanía XXXIII, Sets September Worlds Collide

It marked WWE’s first full creative control over AAA’s flagship show, paving the way for new cross-brand storylines before a Worlds Collide event in September.

El Hijo del Vikingo retained the AAA Megacampeonato in the main event of Triplemanía XXXIII after AJ Styles intervened to halt Dominik Mysterio’s bid for the title.
Psycho Clown and Pagano captured the AAA Tag Team Championships, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. won the AAA Latinoamericano title, Lady Flammer prevailed in the Reina de Reinas match, and Omos claimed the Copa Bardahl.
Triple H, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker joined WWE executives including Nick Khan in Arena CDMX for the sold-out show, which streamed live on WWE YouTube channels, HBO Max and Space.
WWE has begun merchandising AAA talent on WWE Shop, and journalist Dave Meltzer reported multiple AAA wrestlers signing with WWE, signaling deeper roster integration under TKO/WWE.
During Triplemanía XXXIII, WWE confirmed a follow-up Worlds Collide collaboration set for September 12 in Las Vegas with tickets going on sale August 22.
