On the Aug. 25 episode of Raw, Adam Pearce informed Stephanie Vaquer that her Women’s World Championship match will not take place at Clash in Paris on Aug. 31.
Vaquer remains the No. 1 contender, with Pearce set to announce her opponent and the match date on the Sept. 1 Raw.
The title is vacant following Naomi’s Aug. 18 pregnancy announcement and relinquishment of the championship.
Clash in Paris proceeds without a Women’s World title bout; the card features Seth Rollins vs. Jey Uso vs. CM Punk vs. LA Knight, John Cena vs. Logan Paul, Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed, and Sheamus vs. Rusev.
Becky Lynch will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella in Paris, while WWE has not yet detailed how a new Women’s World champion will be crowned.
