• Wulksfelder Gutsbäckerei initiated the recall after internal quality controls found that some pasteurized, sliced 300 g loaves were not properly pasteurized and showed visible mold.
• The recall applies to 300 g packs of Mehrkornbrot bearing the best-before date 18.07.2025, identifiable by the closure clip.
• Affected loaves were sold in REWE stores across Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein between July 4 and July 8, 2025.
• Consumers are advised to stop consumption immediately and may return the product at any point of sale to receive a full refund without needing a receipt.
• The bakery has set up a customer service hotline (040/644-251-30) and email ([email protected]) to handle questions and concerns.
