Wu-Tang Clan and Mathematics to Release New Album for Record Store Day 2025

‘Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman’ will feature all nine surviving Wu-Tang members and exclusive 1-of-1 vinyl cover art.

Wu-Tang Clan and producer Mathematics will release their first album in eight years, titled 'Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman,' on April 12, 2025, for Record Store Day.
The album marks the first time since 2015 that all nine surviving Wu-Tang members collaborate on a full-length record.
Guest artists include Kool G Rap, Benny the Butcher, Kurupt, and others, with the album blending influences from Blaxploitation films and classic martial arts cinema.
A limited run of 5,000 vinyl copies will feature unique, collectible 1-of-1 cover designs, a first in the vinyl industry, with a digital release also planned.
The album builds on the legacy of 2017's 'The Saga Continues,' with Mathematics handling all production and describing the project as a fusion of innovation, storytelling, and cultural homage.
