Overview

  • Stefano Vukov had his one-year provisional ban rescinded on August 8, making him eligible for on-site credentials at WTA tournaments again.
  • The decision by an independent appeals tribunal overturned a February finding of “abuse of authority and abusive conduct” toward Elena Rybakina.
  • During his suspension, Vukov was barred from locker rooms, practice courts and player areas but continued working with Rybakina off-site.
  • Rybakina has repeatedly maintained that Vukov never mistreated her and welcomed his reinstatement as she prepares for the North American hard-court swing.
  • Vukov is set to rejoin Rybakina’s team officially at the upcoming Cincinnati Open, where he can now provide in-person coaching.
