Saha, a celebrated wicketkeeper-batter, has played 40 Tests and 9 ODIs for India, scoring 1,353 Test runs with three centuries.
After being released from India's Central Contracts in 2023, Saha did not return to the national Test team.
The 40-year-old will not participate in the IPL 2025 season, having not registered for the upcoming mega auction.
Saha rejoined Bengal for the Ranji Trophy after a stint with Tripura, aiming to help Bengal secure the title.
His decision to retire follows a career that saw him play for five IPL franchises since the league's inception in 2008.
