- The season runs January 9 to February 5, with 11 matches in Navi Mumbai (Jan 9–17) before shifting to Vadodara for the remaining fixtures and playoffs.
- The opener features Royal Challengers Bengaluru against defending champions Mumbai Indians on January 9 at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy.
- The five teams are Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Delhi Capitals, UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants.
