• Yad L’Achim launched the Tu B’Av Together initiative in 2015 to unite Jews worldwide in prayers for marriage matches.
• On August 9 at 10 pm EDT, the program debuted its first-ever livestreamed concert and expert panel featuring Beri Weber, Levy Falkowitz, Yidi Bialostozky, Itzik Dadya, Shloime Daskal, Dr. David Lieberman, R’ Reuven Epstein and R’ Bentzion Shafier.
• The current tefillah event began at 10 am EDT on August 10 with a synchronized recitation of eight specific chapters of Tehillim under rabbinic guidance.
• Hundreds of names have been submitted for an Amuka minyan of Talmidei Chachamim chanting prayers on behalf of participants.
• Participants can download free ArtScroll Tehillim and submit names through TuBav.org or by calling 1-718-690-2944 to join the global prayer.
