World's Tallest and Shortest Women Meet for Historic Guinness World Records

Rumeysa Gelgi and Jyoti Amge, record holders for their extraordinary heights, bonded over tea in London, celebrating shared experiences and Guinness World Records' 70th anniversary.

Rumeysa Gelgi, the world's tallest woman at 7 feet 0.7 inches, and Jyoti Amge, the world's shortest woman at 2 feet 0.7 inches, met for the first time in London.
The meeting was organized by Guinness World Records to commemorate its 20th annual Guinness World Records Day and the 70th anniversary of the record book.
Despite their significant height difference, the two women found common ground, sharing interests in fashion, self-care, and makeup during their tea at The Savoy Hotel.
Rumeysa, a Turkish web designer with Weaver syndrome, and Jyoti, an Indian actress with achondroplasia, discussed their unique life experiences and challenges.
Both women were honored as Guinness World Records ICONS, a new category celebrating individuals who embody the spirit of the organization.
