World2Fly Starts Regular Nonstop Flights Between Rosario and Madrid

The inaugural A350 service began Thursday, with recent airport upgrades and strong bookings positioning Rosario to grow as an international hub.

Overview

  • World2Fly operated its first nonstop Madrid–Rosario flight on Thursday using an Airbus A350-900 and launched two weekly roundtrip frequencies scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • The A350 is configured with 432 economy seats, making it the highest-capacity aircraft serving Argentina and contributing to sold-out inaugural services and continued high advance bookings.
  • Santa Fe provincial authorities invested about US$150 million in runway and terminal works to handle long-haul traffic and are promoting Rosario to attract tourists, cargo and connecting passengers from the region.
  • The new direct link offers an alternative to existing indirect options such as Latam flights via São Paulo and is being marketed with competitive fares and included services like meals, carry-on allowance and individual seat screens.
  • World2Fly, owned by Iberostar via World2Meet and authorized by Argentina under bilateral agreements in 2025, is selling the route through at least July 2027 and plans seasonal and charter growth such as a planned Rosario–Recife service for summer 2027.
