World Cup Veteran Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris Signs with LAFC

Hugo Lloris, the most capped goalkeeper in World Cup history, has signed a one-year contract with LAFC, with options for 2025 and 2026.
Lloris, 37, has not played a minute for Tottenham this season, and his move to LAFC comes after 11½ seasons with the club.
LAFC's previous goalkeepers, Maxime Crepeau and John McCarthy, are both free agents, with McCarthy reportedly planning to join the LA Galaxy.
Lloris' arrival at LAFC follows the 2022 signings of Italian captain Giorgio Chiellini and Welsh captain Gareth Bale, who helped LAFC win the MLS Cup that fall.
Lloris is expected to be in Los Angeles for the opening of training camp in mid-January.
