Intensive theatre workshops led by Bella Rahim (Malaysia), Jan Martin (UK) and Raheel Siddiqui drew Arts Council Theatre Academy students and international participants.

Afia Nathaniel’s Dukhtar screened to a full house, with the director on video link highlighting cinema’s role in confronting child marriage.
The comedy play Mulaqat, written by Jean Pierre Martez, adapted by Waqas Akhtar and directed by Usama Ranjha, earned applause for leads Tooba Naeem and Waqas Akhtar.
The night closed with Rhythm of the World, featuring artists from Colombia, the USA, the UK and Pakistan, earning standing ovations in a packed venue.
