• The tournament runs August 15–17 at Pabellón 6 in Costa Salguero and tickets start at ARS 5,000 on Eventbrite for three-day access.
• Organizers added two new distinctions—Best Marplatense-Style Alfajor and Best Dual-Flavor Filling—bringing the total to 19 competitive categories.
• A specialized jury will conduct blind tastings and score over 35 sensory attributes to determine gold, silver and bronze medalists.
• Public programming includes free tastings, producer talks, masterclasses, guided samplings, live music and a special “Alfajoreros en Acción” children’s segment.
• Participants span 120+ Argentine producers alongside exhibitors from Uruguay and about ten other countries showcasing traditional and exotic varieties like pistachio and white chocolate.
