Workers Trapped in Omaha Sewer System During Heavy Rains

Two contractors cleaning pipes in downtown Omaha fell into a manhole.
One worker was quickly rescued but the other was swept through miles of sewer pipes by heavy rain before becoming trapped behind a metal grate.
A large rescue effort freed the trapped worker, who was taken to a hospital, though his name and condition are unknown.
The two men worked for Ace Pipe Cleaning, a private contractor.
The dramatic rescue took place in the midst of a heavy downpour that flooded parts of Omaha.
