Overview
- The collision occurred at the Great Southern Highway and Robinson Road intersection in Woodanilling at about 1:30pm Thursday.
- Police said a Mitsubishi Triton and a Honda CR-V were involved in a head-on impact.
- Four people were airlifted by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
- The other driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Katanning Hospital.
- Major Crash Unit officers opened an investigation as the fatality pushed the year-to-date toll to 138, five more than at this time last year.
