Woman Survives 45 Minutes Adrift in the Sea after 10-Deck Fall From Cruise Ship

A passenger fell overboard from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, landing in the water after plunging 10 decks to the ocean below.
The incident happened 27 nautical miles south of Punta Cana, and the woman was extremely fortunate that the U.S. Coast Guard successfully rescued her after nearly hour in the water.
The 42-year-old U.S. citizen was checked out at the ship's medical facility and a hospital in Willemstad, Curaçao, and aside from the harrowing ordeal, is in good health.
The exact circumstances surrounding the fall remain unclear.
