Woman sues cruise line after staff failed to properly preserve husband's body following heart attack

A woman's husband died of a heart attack aboard a Caribbean cruise ship.
The staff told the woman they would preserve her husband's body in the ship's morgue until the ship docked in Florida six days later.
When the body was retrieved, it was found decomposed in a drinks cooler, not the morgue.
The woman is suing the cruise line for negligence and seeking $1 million in damages.
The cruise line has declined to comment on the pending litigation.
