Overview
- A 29-year-old woman was slashed multiple times aboard a northbound 3 train just after 11:10 p.m. Wednesday and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
- On Tuesday evening a 25-year-old woman was stabbed on the staircase of the 23rd Street C and E station and remains hospitalized in stable condition.
- On July 18 a 36-year-old MTA employee was struck repeatedly at the Avenue U station after being asked for directions and was also treated in stable condition.
- No arrests have been made in any of the three assaults as the NYPD continues active investigations.
- Police have circulated surveillance photos for the Brooklyn attack, described the Manhattan knife suspect as a Hispanic man about 5-foot-7 wearing a white shirt and blue sweatpants, and characterized the slashing suspect as a Black man in a blue face mask carrying a gray backpack.
