Overview
- The shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. Monday near the entrance to 664 TJ Birrieria in Trolley Stop Plaza on the 6200 block of Imperial Avenue
- The 29-year-old victim underwent emergency surgery for gunshot wounds to her stomach and arm and is now in stable condition
- Investigators recovered six .380 shell casings at the scene and describe the suspect as a woman wearing dark clothing, boots and carrying a white purse
- Authorities say an argument between the two women escalated into gunfire and the motive for the dispute remains under investigation
- San Diego Crime Stoppers and the SDPD’s Southeastern Division are urging witnesses to come forward with any information to help identify the shooter
