Woman Jailed for Throwing Pet Dog off Carpark Roof in Perth

Amy Lea Judge sentenced to 12 months in prison, banned from owning pets for 10 years after CCTV footage captures her throwing her dog, Princess, off a two-story carpark during an argument with her boyfriend.

  • Amy Lea Judge, a 26-year-old Australian woman, has been sentenced to 12 months in jail for throwing her 10-year-old Maltese/Shih-Tzu mix, Princess, off a two-story carpark roof.
  • The incident, which occurred in April 2022, was captured on CCTV footage showing Judge repeatedly dangling Princess off the roof during an argument with her boyfriend, Scott Frost, before eventually throwing the dog over the edge.
  • Princess was found by a passerby who assumed she had been hit by a car due to her severe injuries, including possible internal haemorrhaging, brain injury, and spinal and pelvic trauma. The dog was euthanised due to the extent of her injuries.
  • Judge confessed to the crime on social media, stating she 'did her a favour because all I did was hurt and abuse her'. She later claimed her account had been hacked.
  • Judge's boyfriend, Frost, was fined 2,500 Australian dollars and banned from owning an animal for three years for failing to seek veterinary care for Princess.
