Woman Gets Engaged in Hospital After Being Gored by Bison in Yellowstone

Amber Harris was gored by a bison at Yellowstone National Park, suffering severe injuries including spinal fractures and collapsed lungs.
Harris's partner Chris Whitehill had planned to propose to her at Yellowstone but instead proposed by her hospital bed.
The bison attack occurred when the couple approached within 50-60 yards of two bison near Lake Lodge Cabins.
The National Park Service warned visitors to stay at least 25 yards from bison, which can run three times faster than humans.
This was the second reported bison attack on tourists at a U.S. national park within a matter of days.
