Overview

• Officers were called at 6:10am to the Woodburn Road industrial estate in Smethwick where a woman was found and pronounced dead at the scene.
• West Midlands Police say the investigation is in its early stages and have not yet identified the victim or named any suspects.
• A blue forensic tent has been erected within the cordon as teams gather evidence at the estate.
• West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed two ambulances attended but were unable to revive the woman.
