• Ali Zacharias' French bulldog, Onyx, was stolen from her in broad daylight while she was having lunch at a Whole Foods in downtown Los Angeles.
• Zacharias chased after the thieves, who had gotten into a car, and ended up clinging onto the hood of the vehicle as it sped away.
• Zacharias was eventually thrown from the hood of the car after several blocks when the driver made a sharp turn.
• The incident was captured on video by a bystander and has since gone viral.
• The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident and is looking for a white Kia Forte sedan with a missing front driver's side hubcap.
