Woman Charged with Murder for Hire After Using Match.com to Stalk Victim

Melody Sasser allegedly hired a hitman to kill the wife of a man she met on Match.com after their relationship soured when he became engaged.
Sasser stalked the victim using a fitness tracking app and paid nearly $10,000 in bitcoin to a dark web hitman for hire site called "Online Killers Market."
Law enforcement were tipped off to the alleged murder plot and intervened before it was carried out.
Sasser now faces federal charges for attempted murder for hire.
If convicted, Sasser could face up to 10 years in prison.
