Woman Charged in Christmas Day Death of Father of Six in Staffordshire

Louis Price, a 31-year-old father of six and avid fisherman from Norton Canes, Staffordshire, was pronounced dead after emergency services responded to reports of cardiac arrest early on Christmas Day.
Kirsty Carless, 33, has been charged with his murder and appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday, December 28.
Price’s family described him as a well-loved and well-known member of the community who brought positivity and always helped others.
Staffordshire Police have referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to recent contact with Price before his death.
A postmortem examination has been conducted, but the cause of death has not yet been publicly disclosed as investigations continue.
