Woman Charged in Assault of Three Staff at New Jersey Hospital

A 37-year-old woman, Firdousi Abdul-Hakim, has been charged with assaulting three staff members at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. in the hospital's pediatric intensive care unit, following a domestic dispute between two visitors.
Two nurses and a medical resident suffered minor lacerations during the altercation and were treated at the hospital's emergency room.
No patients or family members were injured in the incident.
Hakim faces charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.
