Woman Arrested Following Fatal Stabbing Near Ballarat

A man was pronounced dead at a Mount Helen property after an alleged stabbing; police are investigating the incident.

A woman was arrested at a home in Mount Helen, a suburb on the outskirts of Ballarat, following the alleged stabbing of a man on Saturday morning.
Emergency services attempted CPR on the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman, who was known to the victim, is expected to be interviewed by homicide detectives today.
Police have not yet disclosed the nature of the relationship between the suspect and the victim, and no charges have been filed at this stage.
