Woman and Dog Fatally Struck by Taxi in Kent

Police are investigating the incident on the A2990 Old Thanet Way and seeking witnesses.

A woman in her 60s and her dog were hit by a black taxi while walking near Herne Bay.
The collision occurred around 8:30pm on Friday between Chestfield and Greenhill roundabouts.
Both the woman and the dog were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Kent Police have informed the woman's next of kin and are investigating the crash.
