  • The original Black Sabbath members will perform together for the first time in two decades at Villa Park on July 5 in a concert titled 'Back to the Beginning'.
  • Wolfgang Van Halen has withdrawn from the lineup because of scheduling conflicts with his tour supporting Creed.
  • The all-day event includes performances by Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Mastodon among other heavy metal acts.
  • Ozzy Osbourne, who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, has been undergoing physical therapy and rehearsals as he vows to give 120 percent in his final live performance.
  • A pay-per-view livestream will begin at 3pm BST on July 5 and will remain available for 48 hours after the event concludes.
