Emmy Award-winning actress Julia Garner, known for her role in 'Ozark', has been cast in Universal’s 'Wolf Man' reboot, playing a mother whose family is being terrorized by a lethal predator.
The film, initially set to star Ryan Gosling and directed by Derek Cianfrance, has undergone several changes, with Christopher Abbott replacing Gosling and 'The Invisible Man’s' Leigh Whannell taking over as director.
Ryan Gosling, who was originally set to star in the film, remains involved as an executive producer.
The 'Wolf Man' reboot is part of Universal Studios’ Dark Universe, which had a rocky start with the box office failure of 'The Mummy' but regained some hope with the success of Whannell’s 'The Invisible Man'.
The film is set to be released on Friday, October 25, 2024.
