WKU Fends Off Louisiana Tech 66-61 to Move to 2-1 in CUSA

The victory finished a 2-0 homestand, sending the Hilltoppers into a two-game trip that begins Jan. 8 at New Mexico State.

Teagan Moore led WKU with 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists, with Ryan Myers adding 13 and Grant Newell hitting four 3-pointers for 12.
After leading by 15 early in the second half, WKU fell behind 61-60 in the final minute before a 6-0 close sealed it on free throws by Myers and LJ Hackman.
Hackman produced seven points in the last 2:51 while playing with four fouls, including a corner 3-pointer and four late free throws.
WKU shot 12-of-36 from deep and 20-of-25 at the line, and held edges in points off turnovers, second-chance points and assists.
The Hilltoppers improved to 9-5 overall, 7-1 at home and 24-23 all-time against Louisiana Tech, with announced attendance of 3,523.
