• The uniforms will be worn in 29 games during the season and will debut on November 16 in a home game against the Brooklyn Nets.

• Additional elements include two black outline stripes on the trim, a black side panel on the shorts, a revamped belt-buckle logo, and the D.C. hand logo in white with a gold outline.
• A DMV insignia appears on the left side of the shorts, echoing the 2021 City Edition that first put “DMV” on a D.C.-area uniform.
• Team marketing executive Rebecca Winn said fans and players have long requested the black-and-gold colorway, with a 2018 black City Edition helping spark the push.
